Our Inspiration

About the foundation

The Blaney family knows the impact of brain health challenges firsthand. Alzheimer’s disease left a lasting mark when they lost their patriarch, Lou Blaney—a legendary racecar driver and, above all, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Deeply loved and respected, Lou’s memory fuels the family’s mission. Since his passing, the Blaneys have become passionate advocates in the fight against this devastating disease, which affects more than 7 million people in the United States and over 55 million people worldwide.
